Agroeconomist

We are looking for candidates for a PhD four-year contract in the frame of the Spanish project "Silvopastoralism as adaptation stratagy for integrated rural development in the Mediterranean" (RTA2017-00036-C03-01).

The successful PhD candidate will develop his/her research at the Center for Agrofood Economics and Development (CREDA-UPC-IRTA) located in Castelldefels (Barcelona) under the supervision of the Postdoc researcher Elsa Varela (in copy). The thesis case study will be located in Catalonia (Spain).

Requirements:

1. The candidates should hold a degree in agricultural/forest engineering, economics or environmental science.
2. The candidates should have a Masters degree or be about to complete it during the 2018-2019 term, preferably related to management of rural areas and/or agricultural/environmental economics.
