Monde Selection organize the evaluation of products in different categories:

• Food products
• Beers, Waters and Soft-Drinks
• Diet and Health
• Spirits and Liqueurs
• Cosmetic products
• Wine

Position

As a junior specialist in nutrition and dietetics you participate to the analysis and evaluation of products coming from all around the globe. You will work mainly for our DH (Diet and Health) category and your responsibilities will include:

• Analysis and evaluation of the list of ingredients and nutritional information of the product
• Assertion of the nutrition and health properties of the active substances
• Verification of the scientific evidence supporting the commercial claims
• Control the instruction of use are transparent, clear and appropriate according to the type of products
• Follow trends and new insights from the scientific community. This includes staying up to date on European, Asian and American norms and legislations
• Collaborate with external parties (laboratories, private consultant, experts…)
• Answer client questions on the results of the evaluation of their products
• Handle with care and rigor the whole process from products registration until the results communication

As being part of dynamic team, you will also participate when needed to the daily operations of the company (organization of international events, product logistics…)

We offer a fixed-term contract of 6 months that can be transformed to a permanent position at the end of the contract.

Searched profile

• Degree in dietetics, nutrition or food sciences
• Very strong interest in wide arrays of food and nutritional aspects (compliance, quality, health, regulatory, labelling)
• Curious and open-minded as products come from all over the world and Asia in particular. Although science is the main criteria of evaluation, the cultural aspects of a country is important to understand
• Precise and rigorous aptitude
• Ability to manage time effectively during peak season
• Excellent command of English and French (both written and spoken). Understanding of other languages is an asset (both written and spoken).
