POSITION SUMMARY
The Business & Technology Analyst (BTA) is a member of the Customer Service and will provide a dynamic support function to the Company sales organization. BTA contributes to the profitability, competitiveness and brand image of the Company as well as to the continuity and development of Company's activities within its biopharma markets through the optimal management of costs, planning, harmonization of practices and reliability of offers.
The Business & Technology Analyst ensures the correct understanding of the customer's needs and their translation into the service offer, in order to generate competitive advantages in the control of risks (technical, planning,...).
We are looking for a highly motivated talent as a self-starter, a team player, a strategic & analytical thinker with a “can do” attitude, with flexibility to accommodate evolving business and keen eyes for details.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Offer management:
- Putting all the means in place and necessary in order to deliver the service offer in time
- Develop a dialogue to collect the information necessary for the analysis and drafting of the offer with the sales team and Clients
- Targeting and soliciting internal experts in order to provide a response adapted to the client's needs (R&D, Production, QC, QA, technology, Intellectual Property,...)
- Identify the risks in order to integrate them in the drafting of the offer.
- Challenging its interlocutors in order to obtain the most competitive solution on the market
- Keeping up to date with regulatory, HSE and IP aspects and integrating these constraints in the drafting of the offers
- Primary advisor for the sales teams in taking part in the technical and business discussions with Clients
- Be the internal relay of the sales team for the organization of Customer visits
Marketing
- Develop and update tools necessary to offers preparation
- Monitor and analyze the market forces (segments, competitions, new entrants, substitution technologies,….)
- Follow-up of the business acquisition flow Sales acquisition and administration
- Propose prospection guidelines, priorities for bio-segments
- Take part in the training of the sales and operational teams on biopharma market segments, in particular on viral vectors development and production processes and on the aseptic operations.
- Participate to Operational Excellence
- Develop inter-functional relationships internally in order to manage, improve and measure the performance of the process quotation.
- Make proposals for improvements to processes and procedures
- Fulling performance indicators
Qualifications
PREREQUISITES
- Master or PhD in Bioengineering, Sciences, Molecular Biology with particular focus in biotechnology, cell and gene therapy
- First experience in project management and/or business development in the field
- Fluent English and French orally and in writing
- Demonstrable analytical excellence
- Customer-facing experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Presentation skills and problem solving skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Technology and Sciences: having a good understanding and capacity of continuous learning particularly in the field of viral and vectors development, manufacturing and testing as well as in aseptic technologies.

- Project and Program Management Skills: Experience in estimation, planning, design, and implementation of business solutions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations

- Influencing and Interpersonal Skills: Able to establish and build close working relationships. Strong personal credibility and counseling skills and team-oriented.
