You will join our Ramboll Belgium Environmental & Health department
As our new experienced soil and groundwater project manager you will be part of our young and dynamic Ramboll Belgium team comprising nine colleagues with each their own EHS expertise. You will be supported by three other Ramboll colleagues who focus on soil & groundwater projects and challenging remediation projects for our international clients in the Flanders and Walloon Region of Belgium. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to support our Due Diligence, Compliance, M&A and sustainability services. You will be based in the Oudenaarde or Visé office and have the opportunity to work part-time from home.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Manage soil and groundwater projects from A to Z;
- Supervise fieldwork and remediation works;
- Perform risk assessments;
- Be the single point of contact for the client;
- Contribute to local business development actions, win local work and identify new opportunities in line with the Ramboll Belgium strategy;
- Providing technical analysis of complicated site contamination and regulatory compliance issues and preparing technical reports that effectively communicate findings in support of our other service lines.

- MSc or BSc in a relevant environmental discipline (bio-engineer, civil engineer, geologist, industrial engineer, or equivalent) or equivalent by experience
- Driving license (Type B)
- Familiar with soil regulations in Flanders and/or Wallonia
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in site investigation and remediation, experience in one or more of the following fields is a plus: EHS auditing, EHS Management Systems, operational EHS
- Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French and have Dutch or French as a mother tongue
- Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: have excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to work both independently and in teams and being enthusiastic, flexible and reliable.
