Forestry Advisor

Inyenyeri, a biomass pellet fuel and cookstove provider in Rwanda is looking for strategic advisory services related to forestry and agroforestry. As an initial step, the company is seeking statements of qualifications from individuals or organizations with documented relevant experience.  Interested parties should submit a CV and narrative totaling no more than 8 pages by December 4, 2017 describing their experience and qualifications to provide support in the following areas:

• Identification, contract negotiation, and acquisition of forestry concessions on government owned land in Africa, with particular emphasis on Rwanda and neighboring countries
• Development and implementation of sustainable forest management strategies on government concessions
• Experience with third party international certification of sustainable forestry practices
• Experience working with private landowners in the establishment of sustainable agroforestry programs
