Head of Forests and Climate Programme

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on the lead role in providing strategic direction and managerial oversight to our Forests and Climate Programme.

The Programme's focus is on reducing deforestation and illegal use of forest resources. The team works to achieve this through a combination of building legal capacity of civil society, legal analysis, and advocacy toward and with governments and international development partners.

Role requirements

The post-holder will have a law degree or equivalent, and will be experienced in managing large-scale, complex projects and budgets. Ability to plan strategically and build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders is also essential.
