Meeting WB
Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) offer unique programmes that provide professional career development, learning, and capacity-building opportunities for junior and mid-career professionals. The purpose of the meeting is to inform Belgian higher education institutions about these opportunities for Belgian students and alumni.
After a brief introduction of the International Financial Institutions architecture, Human Resources Managers from the World Bank Group (WBG) as well as from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will be presenting internship/job opportunities for students finalizing their Master degree, but also for PhD students and other young professionals.
The WBG and the EBRD represent a large source of funding and knowledge for developing countries. They work with governments, civil society groups, the private sector and other relevant actors around the world, in all areas of international development, from policy and strategic advice to the identification, preparation, appraisal and supervision of development projects.
